Meowhem: Paws of Fate is a short, 2D action packed, story driven side scroller I developed in just one month as the final project of a game development course I had the immense privilege of completing: GameDevelopHer.

Every choice you make — whether to destroy, befriend, or simply nap through the chaos—shapes your fate in this world. With cozy-yet-chaotic combat, charming hand-drawn visuals and enough feline antics to make even the grumpiest cat smile, Meowhem is a love letter to cats, mischief, and all the possibilities of destiny.

Disclosure:
The game, under pressure of time - contains background images generated by ChatGPT. This includes: Menu screen, loading screen, background image for level 2, level 3 and level 4. Images in the credits are also included, and edited by me via ipad to add my own touch and personality to it. The rest of the game is made out of asset packs made by very talented creators which will be linked down below. Sound effects were made by creators on Freesound that will be linked shortly.

All of the characters are hand drawn by me, via Procreate -
Animating them through layers and IK in Unity. 

Meowhem's soundtrack was made via Suno. <3
